Petty Cash

A small amount of money that's kept on hand for small purchases or expenses. It's often used to pay for minor office supplies, postage, travel expenses, employee meals and snacks, or delivered meals. Petty cash is usually kept in a locked box or other secure location, and a custodian is assigned to manage it.
