Owner Equity

The amount of ownership you have in a business after subtracting your liabilities from your assets. It's also known as net worth, equity, or net assets. Owner's equity shows how much capital your business has available for activities like investing. It's listed on a company's balance sheet.
The formula for owner's equity is: Owner's Equity = Assets – Liabilities. Owner's equity grows when an owner increases their investment or the company increases its profits.
