Finished Goods

Products that have completed the manufacturing process but have not yet been sold or distributed to the final consumer. They are held in inventory for delivery, sale, or use. Examples of finished goods include cars, furniture, clothes, and smartphones. The definition of "finished goods" can vary from company to company.
Goods that have been purchased in a completed form are known as merchandise. Products still in the production process are classified as work-in-process inventory.
