Merchant Cash Advance (MCA)

A type of business financing that provides an upfront lump sum of cash to a business. It's not a traditional small-business loan. Instead, the business repays the MCA by giving the funding provider a percentage of its future credit and debit card sales, plus a fee. The funding provider usually takes a portion of the business's credit card sales each business day.
