Inventory

A complete listing of a business's merchandise or stock on hand, work in progress, raw materials, and finished goods. Inventory can also refer to the objects or items represented on such a list, such as a merchant's stock of goods. Inventory includes all the items, goods, merchandise, and materials that a business holds for selling in the market to earn a profit.
Inventory can be categorized in three different ways, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. An inventory list should include the product's name, SKU number, description, pricing, and quantity.
